Rate my First Signature

So this was made a while ago, I was making it for sythe. It took a while to make, so please say good things about it, not bad :S

Its actually really good, I like the pentooling although it seems it might have been the render. Mind showing us the original stock? :/

2/10. Seriously, it's just boring. I'm going to be honest with you, and point out everything wrong with it.

The text is blotchy, and very annoying and bright. It's overly sharpened in my opinion. The color scheme... I don't know what you were thinking. It doesn't blend with the render whatsoever.

The c4ds in the background aren't used correctly. You should work on that. The pentooling isn't bright enough, and you can totally see where you erased parts of it. I can see a motion blur, and it's very distracting.

For more fluent effects, you should try using normal sized renders, brushes, and correctly use c4ds. That's all you need to make a good looking sig. Oh, and lighting. That's a very very very important detail that takes work to get right, but you will get it after you try to use it a bit.

Sharpening. You need to sharpen a sig usually always when you're done with it, to add depth. But, you need to erase the distractions on it. I hope this helps.

 

Wow, I was amazed when you said it was your first signature. But it's your first sig for Sythe. I'm still amazed. It's very nice. Keep it up.

 

You gotta give her more then 2/10 for that pentooling though tbh? Thats kinda sweet. Although yeah there is alot to improve on.

For your first sig it's pretty nice but I'm sure you can do better!

 

The pentooling was very simple, which anybody can do. It's very minor, and easy.

Made by dyst aka strange program. Of course, I asked him before I posted it. Anywho, for the OP, it's very simple and is over exaggerated right now.
