Alright for a first sig here is some constructive criticism.

Make it smaller... Meaning skinnier like mine is 400 X 150 You can be amazed one what an image can look like when it is =P

Make borders it brings out the contrast and tones of the image...

Dont use cloud renders in sigs unless yur mixing with like blurs and pixelations or it looks basic..

A 5/10 for a first one Not good Not bad..

Btw what image program are you using?

Pretty good i'd say for a first.. 8/10. Maybe compact a lil and get a sort of render.

Things for you to look up/try later on:

    1. Blend in the render with the background.
    2. Pick a better background. Sometimes you can make your own background from scratch, or use a render and use tools for making them.
    3. The text isn't suppose to be seen as one of the first things you see. Make it MUCH smaller, and pick a good color. Blue doesn't go with the signature at all, nor the stroke.

    Also, wrong forum.

The render is very blurry and you didn't blend the render into the background. The text is too big and doesn't flow with the sig. Try using the size 380x120. Read a couple of tutorials.

I'm using Gimp, Photoshop is way out of my price range. I did make the background with a brush set. I know the text looks way out of place, i was going to look to download some better fonts, but i didn't feel like it. How do i blend the render into the background?

There's many free ways to get Photoshop, my friend. Sadly I'm not allowed to discuss them here, however.

I suggest looking at a few tutorials to help you get used to using whichever software you prefer to use.

if you wish to have photoshop cs3 free there is free trials on the website

Back to the picture its not bad for a first but honestly it looks like you just pasted one picture on another and added some text
next time try and maybe blend the colours or something see how it turns out

    7/10 for a first one
Bit squashed thinner but apart from that not too bad
Keep going and you will perfect it eventually

I really like it. Very simple but very nice. I'll rate it 8/10.

ok make it 400 x 150 next time also use a better font it has to flow with your sig in some sort. also the colors of your background don't really match much laos try resizing your image. from what i see it looks like you just put an image on a background and put text :( sorry if im being hard

Google some tuts or go to youtube i learned alittle its a decent start tho

Okay, I don't try to be mean I use CC (constructive criticism) to help you achieve your goals of being a great gfx artist. Okay, the render is a bit blurry you should find the same render and make sure it's not so blurred. Second, Don't oversize the render. I had that mistake a lot when I was a beginner. Oversizing the render gets you no where and makes the sig look hideous. The background should blend with the render. If you're using photoshop you should take 2 colors from the sig and make a gradient as the back ground. Duplicate that layer a few times and smudge it. IF you're using gimp take colors that match the render and gradient it. Find some grunge brushes to smudge with and then that's about it for the background. Good luck in the future. WORK ON TEXT! Text is oversized and don't make a brush stroke around it. Stay with the basics and over lay it on the sig itself. I'd say 4/10, doesn't appeal to me.

Just one problem for me, the font is to big. And the character is really bright.
