Urgent. Paypal Problem. May be in wrong section.

Okay, so I sold a Runescape account to a kid for $120. Everything went well.

Until yesterday I found out he charged back his money, and they gave the money back into his favor.

So I'm now -$120 on my account and my Dad's CC is linked to it and now my PP is limited.

Will I ever have to pay the $120 back?

They'll probably charge your dad's credit card or you just won't be allowed to use the account anymore. But, ah sorry to hear this mate, that's why in the future only do paypal with trusted users. :/

 

If you lost the dispute, your account basically won't function until you pay the money back.

So, if you don't want to pay it back/don't pay it back, your PayPal just won't work.

They most likely won't allow your dad's credit card to link up to another PayPal until the debt is paid.

I guess you would be able to link other stuff to a new account, though.

 

I would disconnect your dad's cc from the account immediately, i'm almost positive Paypal is allowed to charge cards if the account it is linked to has a negative balance.

 

That's one of the things you CAN'T do if your Paypal is limited.

You can't remove the any CC and you can't cancel your Paypal account.

I have a limited PayPal account and I have removed and readded multiples of different cards.. Sucks to be you.

 

Also, don't just leave it as a negative balance or there may be ramifications for your or your dad's credit score.

Not only does that confirm he is the banned user ''Embrace the Future'' but here he is trying to sell the gamebattles account that he scammed off of me.

There are ways to make a new account. I assume the paypal account was in your dad's name if you were using his credit card. If you create a new account on a different IP in your own name you shouldn't have a problem.

 

I have won the dispute of the 120 dollars and banned him along with support from 2 other users in sythe who got scammed by him, he scammed me 120 dollar because I was buying a beat headset from him. Reporting him right now as a ban evader.

 

Paypal does not condone transactions involving the sale of virtual items, therefore you will have a slim chance of recovering your funds.
