    White chocolate + White screen?

Hello, I have a verizon White Chocolate phone (the old one) and since yesterday, my phone has been acting weird. First the screen suddenly turned into something like T.V. static. When I turned the phone off and back on, nothing happened, however it worked fine after taking the battery out and putting it back in. Then today, the screen turned completely white and no matter what I do, I can't get it to go back.

    What should I do?

NOTE: Due to marching band and moisture in the air outside, my phone "has water damage" and thus my warranty is void. They told me this back in janurary (about a year after having the phone) when my keys on the phone started to crack/split.

I had the same problem one time with my crap nokia phone.

Try putting it on a slightly heated radiator. If the problem is like you said, moisture it might dry it out. But leaving it on to high will burn the plastic or dry out the chip. If that don't work try charging the battery with another working verizon phone.

If it still dont work i suggest you just by a new phone.

You can get the contacts and files on your memory stick (if you have one) transfered to a new one, they should do this in carphone warehouse or another other cell phone stores. I hope this helps.

    White chocolate + White screen?

Well I'm not sure if I'm going to put my phone into a microwave. :p

To add on some extra info, I didn't get it wet when the phone when all screwy, this happened on a normal day just using my phone. The moisture damage as I said is very old, and not something that has had a significant effect with my phone previously. This phone is 22 months old, so it is possible that something just happened all funky with it. I've heard from multiple sources that it is just the old chocolate phones have problems, and that I'm pretty much SOL. If anyone has any information though that could help me, please post.

If worst comes to worst: get a new phone, try to return the old one.

But I suggest taking out the battery, and the chip.

See if something is loose, if not put it all back in the phone, and don't attempt to turn it on for a day or two: then try.

    See if it works ^_^!

Put your phone in a bowl of rice, leave it a couple of days. The rice will absorb the moisture.

    R33l, to continue our conversation:

Do go with the LG, I think it would suit your needs.

Also, texting with it is not that bad.

    Edit:
The Dark I think he decided to just get a new phone.
