..::Range Tank Quest List Needed::..

Hello, i'm thinking about making a range tank but i'm not sure of what quests i'm going to need for such an account knowing that your not supposed to get your att/str up manualy for all i know. So if someone could put together a list of quests a range tank HAS TO HAVE i would apriciate it greatly!

Well theres no quest on runescape that you HAVE to do. But some essentials for a range tank would include Forgivness of a chaos drawf, RFD of course, maybe you'd want to consider doing dragon slayer for some easy def xp if it's a brand new account your starting on. Others would include animal magnetism, quest for zanik's c'bow, and a must for a pking tank would be the vengeance quest (if of course you have 94 mage). Also, if you have the money for 92 prayer for SS which a lot of great tanks choose to get, you'd need to do temple of sennestian

With 99 def, 99 range, 99 mage and 92 prayer you can get 149 attack/str levels before you will level combat.

 

40-80Def is Good enough no need for 99defence its better to stay low level and for the quest their isnt really none to do maybe the lunar quest for Vengence

52 Pray is good enough to to smite (not really worth it this days)

-RFD
-D slayer
-Animal Mag
-Desert treasure
-Lunars

Anything else? i'll probably end up doing soul wars for defence at least untill i get my att/str up by questing or i might just train my account the best i can w/o questing then once i get like 80-90 range and 70 def i'll quest and get my att/str up or something.....any better ideas on how to go about making this account? i'll be making it from a skiller that currently has over a 1k total so my non combats are quite high

 

Money making is quite difficult skilling these days with all the bots. In fact, I was just doing a quest yesterday and i walked on by the red chins. You wouldn't beileve how many botters there were. It's unreal. If that wasn't the case i'd definetly recommend hunter for an easy 60m+ but it's definetly changed since i got 99 hunter. Something i do a lot is money through slayer. It sounds kinda boring but it really is nice once you get into it. Let me know if you need more help! I'm currently making a pure at the moment so im in the same boat! thanks for the help, all im looking for is basicly a list like i stated above on quests i need so i can find the max skill levels i'de have to get so i can start questing and litterally do every quest without stopping. Because i will not ruin my skiller unless i have done what i just stated I'm still iffy on the whole conversion thing anyway ;P

 

Yeah. Well tbh for tanks, just play it by ear. Do those quests up there and google some other good quests that you should do. Other then those..and the reqs for the those quests.. i can't think of really anything that a tank needs to do. Tanks are pretty easily quested.

 

thats why im making one, and also there just fun to pk on in my opinion but idk i'm going to get a bunch of skills up and get 80 dung + 200k tokens so i know ill have a ccb at least but idk i still have alot of thinking to do.

As a Range tank, you don't HAVE to do any quests, you can just level him.

 

Things to do:
Vengeance
Seers village elite task (DOUBLE chance of bolt effect)
Ava's ... the best one reqs do no evil I believe
Swift gloves thoughbyoull become melee based because you have to get 78 attack and strenghth.
Hand cannon quest


You should gear up in;
Defence helm (storage or statius)
range top (black d hide or Pernix)
Range legs (black d hide or pernix)
Range boots (glaiven or snakeskin)
Crossbow (chaotic or rune)
Chaotic shield or dfs.....




And switch to dbow for spec or handcannon
