"buying v tele"
"I need dragon dagger and rune platelegs for 75k"

The influx of noobs on Runescape reminds me of the old runescape, back when everyone was poor and people got lured into the wilderness for their rune full helms. Good times.

 

Well with constant children updates that's what you're gonna' get , children ingame .

 

Believe it or not, noobs have been around forever.

Believe it or not, asking questions is how the influx of new people learns how to play the game and become the people you seem to prefer. Having new players is a necessary part of any game. Be grateful that the "old rs" is still alive because new people signed up every day...

Alot of interaction is goin on @ GE? Dont see what your point is. Their are botters @ ge ofcourse, but at all player interactional places their will be some parasites abusing that.

 

No see, the way I really used to know people was making a deal with them. I agree that G.E. has made the game more easy to play and made us able to focus on other gameplay more, but you can't compare some people showing of their armor vs people begging for money with hundreds of players standing there trying to sell or buy the stuff they need at the price they want. Merching was real fun back then.

 

I remember the upstairs seer's village bank. Used to be the place to get your flax and arrows cheap

 

I'm pretty much one of those noobs. Well, maybe not to that extent. I know only the basics of members game play. But on F2P i know almost everything. I still haven't figured out how to do dungeneering.

It took me way too long to find out how to discover where to find your combat level =P I was constantly asking people what level I was. Best part was they would usually ask the same question.
The one thing I don't like about new RS is the influx of beggars, and the amount of people actually paying the beggars -_-

idk, imo, runescape seemed alot of more back then. i guess when you are a veteran player, you know everything in the game already, so there really isn't much challenge beyond grinding xp

Eh people used bots to play so when theres no bots they have to come back and learn how to play properly.

 

It saddens me sometimes how much the demographic of the RS population has changed. There used to be alot more mature young adults playing, whereas the game seems to be overrun with hordes of 12-13 year old idiots these days.

It all started when Jagex put RS on miniclip.... those bastards >_<
