DECEMBER UPDATE: Money Pouch - Store More Than Max Cash!!!!

New update by Jagex will allow 4.2B to be stored at once.

Wow this is really convenient lol. Another decent idea by Jagex their doing better .

 

My only thought is this: How many people are going to lose all their money due to Jagex fucking it up?

 

Perfect for the dicers.. lol nah not a bad update but for the majority of the general runescape public I don't see to much of a use for it.

 

A second thought occurred. The general public were previously bots. Jagex probably noticed a massive drop in sales, so they create a new system that causes money to be lost, meaning more effort is put into new bots and therefore more to Jagex

 

I can tell you that Jagex can think of a way to bring in 10x more money than merely 'accidentally' causing money to be lost which does not profit them at all.

 

This isn't an update for money to be lost, its simply jagex taking on suggestions for once and making the game better.

 

It was a joke, but seriously, money WILL be lost due to this I can assure you.

I see this as a update for those who suggested that you should be able to hold more than 2.1B, this update will do that, i don't see where your coming from..

 

I am intrested in hearing how you can lose money with this too...
Also, I do personally like this update pretty much!

 

There'll be some glitch which will cause it to not work properly for certain players, it's Jagex after all.

 

i never understood why maxed cash was the odd number 2147m. whyd it stop there?

 

I have a feeling they will be quite careful about that one, Life of Sin. If there did happen to be a glitch causing players to lose their money, it should be possible to fix those situations as well. So long as wealth is not transferred between players, and simply disappears into thin air, Jagex can give a player his/her gold back without impacting other players.

That's got something to do with Java, It's the biggest number which can be held by Java, this update is smart in the way which they overcome how much can be held on a account.

 

I dont see the point of this update/think at all. We got shards and other stable shit, so this is worthless?

 

Just accepted 70m trade, went straight to my money pouch, when you withdraw it, it goes into you inventory.

 

This is an extremely irritating update. By default, the cash goes straight to the money pouch. As a merchanter, any time I take down a Grand Exchange offer, the cash goes into my money pouch.

To get the money out, I have to close the GE interface, withdraw the money from the pouch, and then open the GE.

Is there anyway to make it so the money doesn't go into your money pouch by default?

 

Does it require - if you have one - a Bankpin to withdraw cash from your pouch?

 

Yeah I think it does require a bank pin to withdraw coins from the pouch, if you have one set.
