    Dual Monitor

Hello guys, I have a Dell XPS 8500 computer and I'm trying to attatch a 2nd monitor.

My main monitor is "23 and it is working fine through DVI.

I have a second DVI port but the monitor isn't detecting anything. It automatically goes back to sleep and says "no input".

The second monitor is a Compaq WF1907 and is decently outdated

My video card is an AMD Radeon 7570

    Thanks for your help!

Have you checked that the 2nd port is actually functional? It may not even be working. Try connecting that 2nd monitor into the DVI you're using the other monitor on to see if it does detect it there, if so then you'll know it's not the monitor.

Bro, it doesn't matter what PC you got. Go to your video options on your Desktop and configure your settings for the other monitor.

If you got a different video card, try it out with that. Or plug the monitor in and see if it works with your current monitor running. Otherwise, it's probably the video card.
