What made you join Sythe? Stay in Sythe?

I'm rather new on the site, and would like to get to know people a bit.

So share your experience.

 

I played RuneScape and a friend showed me all the gold he'd bought and I said I could use some so he referred me here. To punkerpunk13 specifically, RIPIP. I mainly stayed in the market to begin with.

I started posting in the community, made lots of friends and ended up hosting events and such with the Community Development Team. My favourite of them being the Sythe Scavenger Hunt idea I came up with that's now been reused a lot. Ultimately; I just kept progressing up the ladder by being community involved. It's been quite the time passer that I haven't always needed but have enjoyed.

I had joined back in 2007 to sell some Runescape names for like 10-500k a piece.

I stayed because I started a variety of successful business, started questing (we were #1 questers for a while), later got involved in MMing and became an OMM. After that, I firecaped for a bit and also had a Dungeoneering service. On top of that, I was involved in the community and had a great time with a lot of the members in places such as tinychat and the spam forum. Now, I just like popping in every now and then and see what's going on.

 

Joined when I got into gambling and havnt really started using sythe until this year. I stay in sythe because of the good people here and the ability to do trades.

 

Boredom

 

Needed to sell some Neopets shit, ended up staying for RS, the community, and a way to make some side cash

 

Runescape.

 

I heard about the site about three years ago, but never really bothered to join. My friend and I wanted to sell graphics and I remembered about this site, so we joined (my friend quit after like a week though).

I'm currently not selling graphics, so I guess I'm staying out of boredom.

 

Well when I joined I was mainly using sythe just to buy runescape memberships for cheap price.

What has made me to stay is that I like the community a lot and its always great fun doing some business here. Also I just like reading and posting on these forums due to people having similar kind interests as I do.

 

Way back I came to sell and buy goods and always visited solely for the marketplace. Eventually I started to indulge in the community and got hooked.

 

came to try to buy a membership pin for under 500k. got permed for something stupid, came back to buy more pins. Didn't really get into the community until I started browsing the site after a big breakup. Got back into rs, botting, and the IRC. Made a few small businesses and eventually got super into the community.

Don't know why I'm still here

 

IRC is so great.

Joined years ago to buy some runescape gold that wasn't from those rip of Chinese sites, really only use it now to buy and sell a few things since I'm a bit old now
