Random Accounts

Okay so I came back to Runescape after a long break around the end of August/early September and I had forgotten my information so I used my email to recover my account. I had only ever had 1 account to my knowledge which was my turmoil pure I worked on. Turns out I had about 4 accounts linked to my email so I recover them all and they all have not logged on in about 2.5-4 years. One account caught my eye besides my own.

This account was a maxed 70 def turmoil account with 99 agility and 95 dungeoneering along with a pretty nice total level. I have had this account ever since I recovered it with my email and It's log in does not ring any bells nor it's stats. I have no idea where this account came from.

Now here's the thing, (And I need some legit advice on this from some long time Sythe users who have been in the business of selling RS accounts) Would this account be safe to sell? or should I just keep it? I recently reset it's def to 1 but realized the prayer is a waste of combat levels and I do not need another turmoil pure as I have my original account which I feel is better cause I personally worked on it and it has high herb etc.

I am really just looking for advice, If you think it's okay to sell explain to me why, because there is always that chance it could be taken like any runescape account you did not make. If you think I should keep it explain to me what I should do with it.

I personaly like the top one more, or the bottom one if you got better defence.

 

If you have all the details then you should be fine to sell. Eg Email.

I do not have all the details as I was only able to recover it because it was linked to me email and probably because it was inactive for so long. When I went to email recover it it didnt ask em a thing it just said set new password.

 

I'd honestly switch over and use the second account. Agility is a sexy cape and I think you're safe from it being recovered if it's been inactive for at least 2.5 years. Even though it isn't yours, I'd prefer to start off again on RS with that account. But keep your account also, because having an account you know is safe is really satisfying and comforting.

I think you'd probably be safe selling it. Just remember that if the owner actually does recover it ever in the future and you've sold it, you're 100% liable. So if you want to take that risk, go ahead. But like I said, I'd personally just use it as my own.

 

Yeah I was thinking of keeping it lately because if I did sell it I would obviously have to tell them the story and I have the feeling I could be taken advantage of. Like they say it was taken and it really wasn't, because I can't recover it seeing as the only way I can do that is with my email and that will be transferred over to the buyer.

You think I should make it into an agile pure?

 

I would just make it my main, but that's just my opinion and what I would personally do.

 

Not bad at all, you could probably sell a few of them if you'd like to raise money to fund your main.

 

Had to do a doubletake, the second one has quite a few eerily similar stats to one of my accounts. On topic though, if you wanted to sell it, I'd say hold on to it for at least a month to see if it gets recovered or locked (in my recent experience, they're a little "lock happy"). If it's not touched after a month, I'd say go ahead and sell it, there's not really anything to worry about at that point that waiting any longer would solve.

Dude, the same thing happened to me I looked through accounts that were linked to my old email and there were 2 accounts I had no clue about. One was a range tank with like 99 range and 75 def was kinda weird None had too much money on them though..
