You were given the email and password so you could change it to your own. Immediately after this the email was changed and you decided you no longer want the account.

Mind explaining yourself? If you no longer wanted the account, why would you change the details?

I just got off work and home and would like to address this accusation. As it’s impossible to prove a negative.... I’ll do my best to bring up enough to make him incredible. Please see full chat transcript here, I'm not sure if he selectively uploaded it: zwiXy#5458 is a liar

He claimed the account came with the original login email address. I agreed to the purchase assuming it came with this email address.

Not only did he mislead me here, he also then insisted the email on it was the original email address. However it was created on 4/16/2019 as can be seen in chat log screenshot. This is clearly a lie as the account was a max staker with 20m or so in all combat skills and impossible to build in under 2.5 weeks from scratch.

The email addresses did not match so I told him to re-secure the account and I wasn’t interested. TWO HOURS later he accuses me of hacking it, but I never changed any of the login details. Why did he wait this long after I had told him to re-secure the account (three times 2 hours earlier)?

He also insisted that he was the only one with access to the account. But then he stated several times in the chat that his brother may have changed the email address. Meaning that he was not being truthful here and that perhaps his brother is the culprit (if there really is one)?

Lastly, he insisted that I log on the account. Then he came out and said he is going to email Jagex to IP ban me. This feels like a set up to extort me for money. He had me login an account under false pretenses, then a few hours accuse me of stealing it. Then he tells me to pay him or he’ll get my other accounts banned (while keeping his account!). I believe this is also against the sythe rules and regardless of which way you rule he deserves to be banned for it...

Also, though sythe PM I received this message: "reported and u will get ip ban from jagex. u can say bye bye for ur all alt accounts." He is trying to black mail me into giving him money for an account I didn't take.

 

Yes sure you only one who get info and you telling didnt take account. Amazing trolls i already recover the account , and just waiting info from jagex, then we will see. You think im just for fun reporting you here for zero negavite.

 

So I have noticed that this person might have two acc.
Same IP and new email of acc was changed with first letter "n", the same as the other acc name "Nadder".
Also "Nadder" has "trade caution".
Can maybe admins check mail for user "Nadder" and "TR0LL" maybe the mail is like nadder1234@gmail. Thanks waiting for answer.

@TR0LL original email doesn't have to match the username for it to be the first registered email. However you can still choose to not go through with the trade if you're uncomfortable at any point.

After looking more carefully at the messages In @TR0LL's defence he did tell you he was no longer interested and asked you to change details regardless of what the reason was. You then accuse him almost two hours later. An IP Audit match is also not enough to link two users together, often times people link to others due to mobile or proxy matches (which is the case here).

Some advice:
@devili I would suggest a less aggressive approach when dealing with customers. There is no reason for you to give up account, email and recovery info while the other user is still unsure. If a trade doesn't go through, then immediately change your information.
