    RAM, Simba, & Botting question

How much RAM/Bot for a simba script is used on average?

Say a it's 500/bot, could a computer with 16gb ram actually run 32 without any issues

You can't base simba scripts entirely off ram. You're going to have to get numerous processors if you're going to run 32 bots.

    Intel(R) xeon (R) cpu E5405 @ 2.00 ghz (2 processors)

    for 10 bots.

A good estimate assuming a decent complex script with walking or good anti ban:
2/3-1 core per script. If you have above standard core (Such as core 2 extreme vs core 2 duo) then it might be low as 1/2 core per script.

And yes, 500 mb ram per script.

If you know how simba works, you can modify the script to be less cpu and memory intensive.

How much would a computer running 32 bots cost, on average to build up from scratch?

Its not good to have more than 4 bots per computer, login limit unless your script can handle each player simutaneously via .ini files or other method.

Also 12 is the limit before they completely stop you from running.

Better off getting bunch of i7. But your ip would be flagged heavily

You can search random.dat on your PC and right click it, then go to properties. Click Attributes: Read only.

This allows you to run as many on your ip as you want. t'd be most advisable to run 10/11/11 not 32 on one pc.

I don't think you have any idea what you're getting into if you don't even know about ram/cpu when it comes to simba. You have any clue how it works at all?

You do not need to care abut ram ,in average it is 500MB and ram is pretty cheap these days. You have to care more about CPU , all depends on script but on i7 2700k I can run 13-14 bots maximally with some lags and they take only 6GB of ram ,but whole CPU. 6GB of ram costs nothing in comparison with i7 2700k or better ..

You'd need the latest and best core i7 3770K to run more than 25.

I always suggest a maximum of 12GB and having a good processor, as it's currently the limiting factor in botting farms.

Not sure if you can run 25bots on 3770 ,since in cpubenchmark it does not have twice higher score then i7 2700k ,but I would dont suggest 12GB of ram ,either 8GB or 16GB ,because of dual-channel technology its faster to have 2*4+2*4 or 2*8 ,then having 2*4+4 or 1*8+4 ,but on bots it actually does not have real effect,so you can go for 12GB if needed.

    lol wat.

I run ~12 on one computer, 3 on another, and 6 on my other one. All on the same IP.

Anyways it depends on the script, but I don't think you are running >15 bots on any computer unless you have a i7-3960x. It's more cpu intensive these days than RAM intensive.
