Others in the Universe...

To think that we are the ONLY ones out here is too far-fetched. Remeber, the universe goes on forever, but it still grows moment. I think that "alien" is just a term we use to describe other life in the universe. This means that they don't necessaraly need to be 7 foot green things with big round heads and giant eyes. They could look just like us. They could be 1 million years in advance, science wise. They could be 1 million behind us. They might be "peaceful", or they may be like the movies-killers in giant ships that plan to take over the world (thankfully we have Will Smith to protect us from that ever happening =D)

I don't think we will ever know really, to be completely honest i believe that there are other so called "aliens" in the universe or other life beings. There has to be, we can be the only beings in the gigantic universe.

Actually , I don't and I will neva care until they appear. Why should I keep thinking of that while I may die without knowing. When they appear I will start to be interested. But as soon as there is no evidences I don't think about it.
To answer the question I agree with Finniscool. The universe is very very very huge so I think there might be another life.

 

My thoughts exactly. As you said, their may not be "little green men" or advanced civilizations, but life of some sort is likely to be out there. For example, there is some evidence that life once existed microscopically on Mars and it's a neighboring planet.

 

The probability that we are the only planet among countless trillions of planets within the universe is beyond unlikely.

And to think we are the most advanced would be kidding ourselfs, considering our solar system is quite young compared to the rest of the universe.

 

I do believe that because of the enormity of the universe there are other living things out there. By living things I do not mean single celled organisms, I think that the things that are out there, are nothing like us, but maybe very primitive or very technologically advanced.

 

We are probably not the only ones, but the definitive answer lies in our government and the governments of other countries, who seem to be trying to hide any and all evidence of other life forms(ehm Roswell)

There are several inorganic beings within the universe and they have been in contact with us for thousands of years if not longer. When I say inorganic I mean beings which do not inhabit a physical body inside the 3rd dimension, they are intangible, though they maintain a conscious awareness - often one that is greater than our own, and that is what makes them "alive" in my opinion. It is still possible for some of them to have a form, though many are formless... some can change forms at will and others can take control of physical forms. Science tends to dismiss these due to their intangible nature, which is unfortunate but understandable since the scientific reality tunnel relies on the basic sensory perceptions of the average human being, things which all people can see/touch clearly, though records of their existence can be found in almost all cultures and in a variety ancient/modern literature if you look in the right places.

I've met several of them, some are scary, some are very loving, some are evil, some are divine, some are playful.

Some of them can even interact with the physical dimension in certain ways.

As an X-Files fan, I do believe there are other life forms, however they are not little green men or gray (gray in Stargate and X-Files ;P)

I would not doubt there are others in the universe. I have met one lol just kidding, but there is probably others. There is so much space in the universe, there is garunteed to be life forms out there.

Surely there must be some type of being out there, and if there is something, it would be rude to be calling them aliens. They might call us aliens. There is about 20 planets we have discovered so far, and the univerese keeps going. In my opinion there is a living source out there.

 

I can not see us ever being in contact with another form of life. The universe is just too damn large for us to be able for them to come here or for us to come to them. If you think about it, from what we know so far, we have not found any life anywhere else on the universe. How far have we traveled? Quite a ways, I can not give you numbers exactly but being this it would be impossible for other beings to reach our planet. They would have to live a life where they do NOT die because it would take millions of years for them to get to our planet.

Even if they were traveling at the speed of light ( the only thing I know faster than light is matter but I do not know my measurements ) the closest star to Earth other than the Sun is around 4 light years away. Keep in mind that most stars can not support orbiting planets with ideal life conditions. There are very, and I mean VERY few planets which have ideal conditions like ours. The possibilities of life being on these planets is not a great number, but those planets that are occupied by life you must remember that some of them have already been destroyed due to evolution ( just like how our planet will one day be destroyed thanks to the pollution we put in the damn air ).

Going by the Drake Equation, there is an estimate that there are 10 planets in the Milky Way Galaxy that have life. Can we prove this? No, but this is the estimate. Keep in mind that Milky Way is enormous spanning over 1,000 light years.

So basically for those who don't want to read the wall of text, there are very few planets that as of now could possibly have human life on them. Will we ever be able to prove this? No, we will never reach them and they will never reach us. There is just too much in between us for us to connect. Even if we do know if there is another human life form out there, what will it do for us? In my opinion absolutely nothing.

I do beleive we are not the only ones out here but i also have another theory.

I have a theory. It is that we are en experiment the human race is an experiment held by some evil race , alien or something and it is just seeing what potencial we have to survive.

This is just a theory. There are millions of different aspects that people see life as.
