Racism, Little Things That Irritate Me.

You can pretty much say they are not because when you ask they say they are not kidding, and will get aggresive to prove themselves. But w/e.

 

Trust me, you didn't come off being racist. I have seen and read much worse on this site haha.


I read the whole and I agree, only thing that pisses me off is when I hear the same racist jokes over and over

Example:
Q - Why are all black people on the street fast?
A - Because all the slow ones are in jail.

And I don't really mind when people say nigga but if they flat out just call me a nigga or something I'm going to be mad.


EDIT: Why can I spell "Nigga" the way its suppose to be spelled instead of spelling it the ignorant ass way haha.

First of all detroit is mainly proposed of arabs.
although there are a lot of "blacks"

I also live in the northern part of michigan (the lower peninsula) and yes most the kids do try to act black and I find it annoying.

I don't know if you knew this but northern michigan has a lot of people that use to be part of the "kkk" as one of the grand dragons died or something like that I believe and a bunch of them decided to move up ( my grandma being one of them)

The reason they think that every comment is against there race is because there grand parents told there parents and what not of all the shit that went on back in the day. Then with that there parents act like there grand parents and so on it just goes on down through the line although a lot of them will not admit it, it happens subconscious(sp?) or not. An I believe they abuse that too much the strives there grandparents had to go through has nothing to do with there cusioned little life they have.

The reason most "white kids" think that "black kids" are strong tough\gangster or w\e is because there intimedated by them.

There was no reasoning for anyone to be afraid of the people they were unless they could not tell the difference. as the terrorists were found out to be from egypt

I am sure "white kids" call "black kids" names a bit but I have yet to see a "Black kid" argue with a "white kid" and within the first 3 sentences NOT call him a cracker or any other form.

Are minds are built like a start-up hard drive. we are born with the instincts of any animal with the instinct to survive and with the mind knowing that "in the end the weak die and the strong survive" just as a zebra won't go up to a pride of hungry lions we wouldn't just walk up to a gang of bikers. (although there are idiots out there) we realise that if someone looks like they are trouble they probably are and won't go near them. etc.

So take that as how you want it I agree and I dissagree. but it's up to you to decide on what I think.

It is because in some places the real way of saying "nigga" is illegal and I believe that could cause sythe problems if people say it. but I am not sure that would just be my guess.

"Black" and "White" are not races. It is a variation of pigments, and race is only a social construct set by Society.

true about pigment.. but they become a separate race after you see a different kind of attitude in them, and the white people, Arab's, and etc.
Then they become different other than there skin color, so we get a race, and then racism.

 

The thing about racism is that saying something is racist can be racist, because if everyone is equal then why does it matter if one race is abused?

That's exactly what I think, I hate it when something bad happens to someone and then someone else feels angry only because the person was the same race as them even if they had no other relation to that person.

 

I believe that if you sit down at a table and talk to someone long enough that you will find the differences are not that large. People are racist because they do not know. However racism due to issues such as war is different, as there is always separation over conflict which will happen regardless of race (north & south USA) even though both were American they forced a barrier between them with names such as 'hick' so therefor things that aren't are often just given the label of 'racism'

You actually got my attention and made me read whole thing... curse you... I hate reading.

 

I get pissed off because black people in Australia get special treatment, lighter sentencing, paid to go to school, cheap tertiary fees (if they have to pay at all) etc. And lots of people call me racist, which i'm not, my best friend is black. He leeches off the government too and it pisses me off but he says 'hey, if you could, you would as well' and i'm like 'thats true, so its just the government that fucking pisses me off'. I believe everyone is equal and should be treated equally, regardless of race or social status (like celebrities rarely ever getting the correct punishment for their actions). I also say lots of jokes which some people say 'lol your racist' but the funny thing is most my 'black jokes', i initially heard from 'black people'. Racist jokes don't usually offend those its regarding unless its specifically directed at them to be mean and as an act of embarrassment. But yeah overall i think we should all be treated equal, i don't believe racist jokes are really racist, i think they are just jokes. And can be pretty damn funny. Most comedians make jokes about their own race/nationality so it clearly doesn't bother the majority of people.

 

I kind of agree, but one thing which really can irritate me is that black people can call white people " Honky/ Whitey " etc but as soon as a white person comes up with calling someone a n__ga they just take it too far.. i wouldnt say it was the media' fault id say it was there own... i dont take too kindly to racism but as soon as a someone of a different ethnic minority insults my nationality im straight against it, but other than that, its all i got to say.

 

I have never heard of 'Honky or Whitey' before lol. Are they common terms?
