I would highly recommend NOT buying from R2pleasent.

I sent my letter over 3 weeks ago and he still hasn't received it. So if something went wrong, shouldn't they have sent it to the return address? He obviously stole it and will keep saying it never came. The same also happened to a guy I've been talking to, who now tells me he sent his over 4 weeks ago. There are a few more people who are still waiting too.

And not to mention his bad communication skills. He never replies to PM's, and is always "Away" or busy on MSN.

 

Are you kidding! Lol R2 is the most trusted member on sythe. I myslef have done 100's mils trades with him and he comes through everytime....... do not accuse the gp king sir.

 

Well maybe he was trying to get the last amount of money he could before the update...

It's been 3 weeks and from his lack of communication it certainly seems like he doesn't care/scammed me.

 

Hes still on here dude. The only person who fucked people over was The own guy. Nah R2 is still selling gold. shoot him a email..... or he will reply on here

Ok, I've checked over the dates, and minus all holidays and Sundays, my letter still had 15 days to get from around Philadelphia PA USA, to Ottawa Canada.

That's less than 300 miles, which should have taken 3-5 days. So it's taken 3-5 times the normal length for it to get there so far. I put the money in a 3-folded piece of paper, and taped all 4 ends shut. I even wrote "Congratulations on getting into college Dave!" on it. So let's see what could have went wrong:

-Mail room guy stole it (No, see above)
-Didn't make it yet, lost in mail (Not too likely, or else it would've been sent to the return address)
-You received it and are scamming me (You are trusted, but you still seem kind of suspicious and are VERY hard to communicate with)

So you can see my dilemma and why I think you could of scammed me. Sorry if I'm wrongly accusing you, but I'm really stressed out because that was a good amount of money that might have potentially just been stolen from me.

Hey man, I understand you're upset about this, and it seems like 3-4 people that sent me mail over the holidays (out of about 100) have had their mail lost. This could be due to a number of reasons, probably because of the huge amount of mail flow going through around holiday time. I am very sorry if the mail doesn't get sent back to you, because at this point it's quite obvious that's it's not coming to me. If it's late for some reason, I'll happily mail it back.

This was my first time using the mail method during the holidays. Obviously there were some unforeseen issues with it. If I were to do it over again, I'd advise people to avoid mailing cash around that time of year.

The reason I haven't been replying on MSN is that I really haven't got much reason to be online anymore. Aside from a bit of merchanting on the accounts forum, there's not much reason for me to be here. I don't play RS. I can understand how it frustrates some people, but I've basically retired from the Gold/Item Exchange, unless I come across a new trade method.

To all those accusing me of trying to make a big hit before I went, get real. I was sent 3,500.00 from Taram Singh via WU the night of the update, and I filled his entire order, I even refunded him 500.00 worth of GP that I couldn't get him before the update. If I wanted to scam someone, that probably woulda been the time? Lol.

 

Well explained, although due to the pending response, most Sythe members who are waiting for a quicker response from you are frustrated due to a long duration of time wasted. It has been said, that you don't have good communication abilities to contact your buyers, therefore, they may think you're scamming. Although, after you explained a reasonable explanation, I doubt anyone would try accuse you as from now.

I am just verifying some errors in other peoples Post Messages as I've viewed lots of accusements about you. But, you seem like a very experienced person and very trustworthy.

To conclude, R2Pleasant is a trustworthy person to those who think opposite from me.
