Mage and farming questions

Hello all.
I'am 84 Mage and am tired of alching. I have heard lunars has some good training methods? Anyone know what the best is
ALSO
I am 33 farming and I want to train it up. Is the best way herbs still?

 

Stunning is a fast way to get magic xp, you don't need sacred hats like the guy used in this video but they help http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DpsD8mwww5A

And for farming plant the best crops you can until your able to plant toadflax and strawberries. Always do fruit tree's and tree's as they are the best xp. Do willow tree's and the highest fruit tree you can plant.

 

Maybe you should think about doing the minigame Livid Farm - Has great magic xp/hr and good farming xp/hr

Completed Lunar Diplomacy
Have the Lunar Spellbook activated
70 Magic (cannot be assisted or boosted)
60 Agility (cannot be assisted or boosted)
61 Crafting (cannot be assisted or boosted)
60 Farming (cannot be assisted or boosted)
50 Construction (cannot be assisted or boosted)

Definitely worth getting though, to get the 60 farming keep planting your best fruit tree's and normaly trees for best xp,aswell as herb runs for some money

At level 86, I believe you can cast Plank Make (Lunar Diplomacy and Dream Mentor needed) which from what I've seen can award up to 165k Experience per hour.

At current prices, it costs 1916 gp per cast + the price of the log for Mahogany l, and planks are valued at 1959 gp. So you can actually make a slight profit with this method.

Plank Make can be very good exp. (When I did it I even profited!)

String Ammy is another spell you should look at. It costs a lot to use but it is very fast.

On the otherhand if you have ancients you could simply barrage it.

As for farming, herbs are great cash but not decent exp. You should do fruit trees and regular tree runs for the exp.

 

Honestly, just set up an alcher bot at night, assuming you're tired of alching during the day because you can't use your computer for anything else?

 

Plank make is probably your best bet mate. If you want something on lunar spellbook.

30k farm and mage xp per hour, plus you get a little agility and you can unlock spells

 

Either burst, alch yourself whilst planting herbs, or get an autoclicker.

 

Train your farming by planting at all 5 patches. Herbs are good money. Especially ranarrs

 

I just did my mage bursting rock lobs. If you have prayer, and plan on getting up summoning, that is what I would do.

If you get the levels, there is a flawless FLAWLESS simba bot that I used from 64-80 (about a week or two time).. I gained ~1.2M mage exp and however much xp 64-80 is. Also recommend planting trees (yews -> mages as you lvl). If you're wanting more mage xp, then I suggest livid farms to your desired farm level as it helps mage, then simba stun bot
