Sythe.org Vs Jagex?

Has Sythe.org ever had any encounters with Jagex?

Yeah if so why are people blocking some of their rs stats on sales

 

Actually, Jagex cannot go on this site, people do that for additional protection.

I know the owners of Rsbots.net, Mark Snellman and his brother, got sued in February by Jagex. But they broke the law by copying the game code into their code (copyright infringement), while Sythe.org only breaks Jagex's terms of service and therefore cannot be prosecuted criminally.

 

There is a distinct possibility that out of the 100 thousand or more members, that at least one of those members is an in-game player mod, trying to get ahead.

 

Couldn't they technically get one of their close friends to have a look around the site for accounts ect, print screen them then show them to the jagex after they crop the rs account out? As a jagex employee never entered the website so it isn't against their T&C.

 

Just cause Jagex cant visit the site at Jagex HQ doesnt mean Jagex employees cant go home on their computers...write down accounts names..ban when they go back to HQ.

lol, Jagex is only thinking about money and how to get more players, i don't really think they give a f about sythe or so.

They sued rsbots, because it made it ease to achieve 99s = less time being member.

Create level 3 account > use a bad wc bot > kill the account in wildy > take logs / money made.

 

Simply because our terms of service say Jagex cannot enter this site does not in any way block Jagex from entering. If a Jagex employee does enter the site, the maximum damage we can do is ban them off of this site for breaking our terms of service, but the site itself will most likely not be sued. The only illegal things we do harbor on this site is the private server section, which is actually harboring DMCA infringement seeing as it is Jagex copyright code, names, and images up for download off of the site.

 

I'm surprised it wasn't trademark infringement. That's how jagex has been swiping all the domains that contain "rs" (rsunlocked, now rsbot).

 

They Can't. If you go home and wrote down names, and then went back to Jagex HQ you would then be a Jagex Employee and Would not be able to enter the site, so how would you get the information, and to the guy way above the post that im quoting, saying if a friend screen shotted, they can't do that either because how do they know FOR SURE that the Screen Shot is Genuine

 

They obvioulsy give an f about sythe.. thats why they removed wildy, added trade limits etc sythe contains RWT which jagex dont allow.

Ermm because if its a friend that doesn't play why the hell would they decieve them? Plus after the had the screenshot they could quickly check on another factor or something, such as did the account very similar stats to this one recieve a large some of money, or a massive ip change.

 

are you guys fucking stupid why would Jagex even waste money employing people to go on blackmarket sites and screenshot accounts, furthermore I doubt one of them would make it their personal vendetta to go out of their way to ask a friend etc.

Oh and:

Jagex > Sythe

Because without Jagex there would be no runescape, and without runescape 5/6 of sythes population wouldnt exist lol
