Questions about Middlemen

Hey guys I just have a few questions about the whole process of selling an account through a middleman:

1. What are the steps involved?
My assumption would be that if I am the seller, I would add the middleman on skype and first give the account details to them. Then they would confirm with the buyer on skype, then the buyer sends payment. Once payment is received, the middleman gives the buyer the account info. - This is just my guess

2. Do I need to add the buyer on skype as well?
I don't see how this would be necessary seeing as how all the information would be passed through the middleman. I am just worried about skype's security, and I wouldn't want my IP address to be discovered. Some buyers have asked me to add them, this is why I ask.

Middleman holds cash of the buyer.
You send all info to middleman (if he's serious he should have a form ready).
You change email to buyers email.
wait for confirmation of the buyer that he secured the account via email/authentication etc.
payment is given to the seller by the middleman.

some people argue to first let the middleman secure the email and change pass, and then re-change the email to the buyer's, but i've never bothered honestly.
