Questioning 2 infractions

Hi, I would like further explanation on legitimacy of last 2 infractions I got some time ago.

Spam. Really? Am I not allowed to question a shady website's legitimacy and warn others of the possible implications? Please post the rule behind this.

Spam. I was pointing out that the guide is obvious and is public knowledge, which it was even at that point. I can link posts on sythe and elsewhere that explain the trick. The thread even was locked but I still got infracted?

There's no need to publicly dispute them. DJweasel issued them, so PM him. Since he's a global, if you aren't satisfied after talking with djweasel, you'll need to PM a general admin (Nick, FireZ, and Verts).

 

By the way, we value niceness and humbleness above anything else. Even if the infractions were unwarranted, an angry PM won't do you any good. Sometimes I reverse incorrect infractions just to replace them with a "Flaming a Moderator" infraction because of the excess swear words in respond PMs. We volunteer mods do our best to not make mistakes, but we are merely human beings like yourself.
