Well known Money Guide -- 700k/hour -- 2nd fastest way

Hello, yeah I know I am gonna tell you a well known money guide.
+ for more information I am add a youtube video to it, to make sure
you can do it as I say.

Its the plank running methode, its very handy to make money.
Or to reduce the costs of the skill: construction.

First of all, to make planks you need logs ofcource and some money.
If you didn\\\'t do the quest: Enlighted Journey or something like that you need
to follow these steps.

1. Start out in varrock, your invinotry should be:

1 slot: Money, around 200k should be fine
2 and 3 slot: Super energy potions (so you can keep on running)
4 slot: Fire runes (if you make 200 tripts, you need 200 fire runes, clear?)
5 slot: Law runes (if you make 200 tripts, you need 200 law runes, clear?)
6 and other slots: Full of logs (I prefer to oak logs, because oak planks sell instant at med. price GE)
!! Wield an Air Staff !!

2. Run east wards trought the gates, then rune north wars till you see a little house. (mostly follow the people, they now where it is.)

3. Right click on the dude in the house. Choose the option: Oak logs
The transfers all oak logs into oak planks for like 250coins each.

4. Click on your spell book, then choose varrock. Telleport to varrock
and run eastwars to the bank, bank it, take a new load, and repeat.

don't you have to pay 250gp per oak log to make into plank though? isn'tthat a loss of profit?

 

I did this for 1 complete hour, and made exactly 1k planks. After buying all the things I needed, I made:

130k!!!!!

I needed runes (50 of each, and staff), energy pots (around 100 of them), and logs (25k for 1k). That cost around 320k (after changing from logs to planks = 250k).

The planks I sold were for 460k.

That made around 130k in the end.

Congratulations, you wasted an hour of my life, and only made me a little over 100k.

If you wantch the video, he said he could do 600 planks in one hour. I managed to do 1000 planks. The title says 700k an hour, but he says in the video he makes 200k per 1k planks. How does that make sense?

that 10 energy\'s every 100 planks,, i can do this within 4 super energy

than inother thing, the video is about to show the the Route, not the comment what he is saying and its not me.

Then, 50 law runes is about 15k,, sow what??
in totall you will gain for each 1000 planks 250k - minus 15k law runes and energy that rougly 225k

I made 2,5k planks in a hour with this,, and the maximum is 700k/hour.
If you want to make more, go check my other guide,, then you will use
a balloon, otherwhy just shut the fuck up.

Yeah, i don't believe that it can make anyone 700k per hour, as i have tried it before, but i do believe that this is a good guide and should be used if you are new to it Thanks for the guide

Awesome guide, I use this method, but alot of people say taht the Air balloon method is alot quicker though i am just too lazy to do it hah

 

i like the baloon method.. but with regular running, im not sure about 700k an hour. when i do it, i just walk to and from the place and bank.. pretty good cash anyway.

700k doing this? How about 200k?

You said that you can run 1000 planks---that's 40 runs, each of which will drain your Energy by 65%, with four Super Energy Potions. That's absurd.

This is the tenth or twelfth time somebody's posted this "guide" on Sythe. The first person decided to only total up what the Oak Planks sold for, while conveniently forgetting all of the costs associated with it. Then it gets copied time after time.

Well it doesn't work.

You're no way going to make 100 runs per hour doing this. It takes about 65 seconds to run from the bank, convert the logs into planks, teleport back to Varrock, run to the bank, unload my planks, load up on logs, and drink enough energy potions to get my run back up to 100% (one energy potion will do the job). You can take an Energy Potion along with you, but then you will have one log less. It's better to just take a potion from the bank, drink it, put the vial back in, and load logs.

We'll stretch things in your favor and say that it can be done a bit faster: in 60 seconds. That's 60 runs per hour. I'll also put on Boots of Lightness (that you didn't mention) and remove all of my armour to make me lighter. Then we'll use REGULAR Energy potions (which cost 360 per 4-dose) instead of the Super Energy (which cost 1653 per four-dose, and which only restore twice as much energy). And finally, I'll carry 25 logs (plus two runes, money, and wield the Air Staff).

So we make 60 runs and convert 25 logs each run. That's 1500 logs per hour (not 2500 as you claimed). You'll need 60 Law Runes, 60 Fire Runes, and 60 Energy Potions. Here are the costs for that hour:

60 Law Runes (309 ea):         18,540
60 Fire Runes (9 ea):             540

Total cost:                   454,680 

Now, Oak Planks sell for 437 in the Grand Exchange. 1500 of those will bring you 655,500. That leaves you with a profit of 200,820, which is WAY off of 700k.

Now in reality, it takes closer to 65 seconds to do a full run from bank to sawmill to bank, counting reloading everything (and that assumes you don't take any breaks). That means you're only going to make about 55 runs per hour. That's 1375 planks. And that's roughly 184,000 profit per hour.

Which is quite a ways from the promised 700,000.

Doing it with balloons will make about 300-325k per hour, assuming it's done correctly.

Oak Planks have never been a 700k per hour venture, even when they were selling for a lot more than they do now.
About 175k per hour without balloons, about 270k with balloons (320k if you cut your own Oak Logs)
