Firez was banning a lot of people yesterday in the gold exchange section, and he posted on every single thread in which the OP was banned. Please just edit their OP stating that they are banned instead of replying to their thread. The whole front page in the gold exchange section was filled with locked threads yesterday.

I don't think it's that much of a problem. However, I think that locked threads should instantly be moved down to the bottom of the page. This way they will get off the first page much quicker and it will bother people less.

If it would get changed, banhammered posts can still be posted without moving the thread to the top. However, I think that Firez is doing a good job by posting the reason why the topic has been closed. Postcount+1 is the least he can get rewarded with for his effort :p

This is something that you should leave in the staff feedback thread, or just handle by PMing FireZ. It most likely won't be a daily occurrence so just take it up with him personally to get things straightened out.

Yeah, I like your idea. I just don't want the front page flooded with locked threads. I was tempted to bump my thread...and I did it. I got infracted lol. That was my bad anyway.

Okay, well I put it here, if someone wants to move it, that's fine. I just wanted other mods to see this as well. That's why I didn't just PM Firez.

Is it honesty really that much work though to click "Page 2"?

I agree it might be inconvenient but not enough to make a thread on it. Just go to the next page..

I personally think it's a great way to show the hard work which is being done whilst providing a visual deterrent to others, showing that scammers and other rule breakers are actively been pursued. It's not a big deal to scroll past these threads and they will quickly fall to the next page because it's a very active section. I don't think it's worthy of making a whole thread about.

Assuming the threads were closed after his initial posting I see 0 harm in something like this.
If anything, it plays an example that if you're a scammer, a vader, or anything along those lines, you will be banned.

Since they are closed, upon any posts they will rapidly descend as other gold seller's threads push them back.

As well, unless it's available to double click the thread title in order to edit - which I don't believe it is - editing a load of pages saying [banned] (or anything along those lines) would be quite a pain.

Its done for a million different reasons and will never change. Leaving a path of destruction just shows you guys we are going after scammers hardcore, sometimes we target specific sections and sometimes IP check just finds a bunch of vaders in a row like we just won the lottery.

Locked threads disappear fast anyways, that was from 1 - 3 am when not many were on also.
