Question on Account Lock.

So on my account I'm permanently muted but I used one of Covey's appeals and my account got locked, but I was able to answer all the question correctly and I'm waiting for the pending which is taking a long time.

So my 2 questions are:

How long do locked accounts for appeals take?

When my account is unlocked will I be unmuted or is there a chance that the appeal didn't work?

1. Around 3 days if no one else appeals for that account.

Thank you. Also, my appeal did not say anything about anyone else stealing my account, so I don't understand why they locked it. I used the Rule 11 appeal that Covey posted.

This is what I said, it's Covey's. It says the word sorry but you would think Covey would removed his thread if apologies are no longer accepted. It better work. So if I only say the word sorry once, is it considered an apology because it actually explains how I wasn't breaking the rule, not really an apology.

I'm sorry jagex, but she wanted to know a good runescape help site. So i was trying to help her out, its a well known fan site and isn't a scam site i go to it myself regularly. If the account is locked you'll get it back within a week. You won't get banned.

Also, don't use Covey's tips verbatim. I think the mods probably realized that these are canned by now, that could be why you got locked.

 

Damn lol, I did verbatim but I changed the she's to he's, same thing though lol. So if I get the account back unlocked I have a high chance of getting unmuted?
