    I'm running IE8 and at the top of every page it says upgrade your web browser to Google Chrome or Firefox.

    Would doing this benefit me in any way???

    Didn't know exactly where to put this.

    Yeah because IE is a load of shit compared to Chrome and Firefox these days. There's absolutely no reason to be using IE these days, save for testing a website out or something. Not to mention the security flaws in it.

    Get Firefox, it's a lot safer + faster. Chrome is overhyped.

    Google chrome is the best in my opinion, I'd advise you to switch to that. It works smoothly when using sythe.

    My advice to you would be to switch over to google Chrome.

    The main reason would definitely be the time you save. There's so many toolbars on IE, its just such a turn-off for an internet browser.
