Why the name "sythe"

 

maybe its linked to scythe on r00nscape?

 

Yeah, it sounds like maybe "sythe" was derived from the word "scythe", perhaps the one from RS.

 

See we only think sythe.org sounds better because we are used to it. If the site was named sythe.com we would think .com sounded better than .org

 

org = orginisation . But this isn't an orginisation?

 

Maybe sythe is his last name or something. I highly doubt it but it'd be a pretty badass last name to have. Anyways, i'm sure its from the item in runescape or some time of coding thing (I know almost nothing about coding so dont make fun of me) since I think hes a computer programmer. Could be anything really.


And .org well it 1. Sounds better 2. Is kind of mysterious I guess.

.org is actually a very popular TLD for cheating forums and such (e.g, moparscape, rsbot) since it's an 'organization' or group of people.

 

I was wondering how Sythe became, too. It just has a dark feel to it, like a rebel, going directly from the S to the Y, instead of the C being the middleman.

 

Well i have no clue but i thought it was from the old holiday item as its a "shady" sorta item and there's like lots of cheating / rs rule breaking here
