Help Me, Internet Police Blocked My Laptop

Ok I was watching NORMAL porn, I loaded up 5 vids to select the best, and then suddenly, boom, i get sent to some police page saying my computer has been locked, it says my ip address, location and internet provider, though i cannot tell if its legit on the left it says loads of articles and is telling me to pay £100 by Ukash or Paysafecard where I have to enter the code, at the bottom it says im being recorded (theres me on the webcam) and that police are looking through all my files.

It says A first time violation may not lead to improsement. In the case of a first-time violation I need to pay the fine according to the Law Of Loyalty to the people as of December, 04, 12,

I meen, this all looks so legit, i even rang 999 and they basically told me to go away and hung up on me as its not an emergancy.

I have 48 hours to pay the £100 or they will pursue it further and my laptop is locked forever it says if i dont pay it they will confiscate my computer and I will be subjected to pay £16k!!

I do not have £100 and dont wanna go to the station on christmas, ok this may be fake and when I reboot my computer i get on my basic homepage for 2 mins and it then returns me to this but the payment time restarts and I have 48hours again

It says I have been directed here due to watching pornograhy involving minors, and like 30 seconds before this occurred the antivirus bullshit thing said a threat has been detected (this antivirus is a free one which is shit and yeh)

So can someone tag or link some pics what they think it is?

Is it fake or real? I am shitting myself of the embarrsement this will cause if its real.

It's fake and a virus. Don't send them any money. I looked it up and there are plenty of people getting the same thing. Here is a video on how to remove it. If this one doesn't work, then there are plenty of others on Youtube or you could always do a system restore if nothing seems to work.

 

Seems like one of the new fake FBI prepaid debit card viruses. Wipe your PC and it should be fine.

 

My verdict:

Fake.

Why would the police immediately demand payment with no documentation or anything, if so you would be obligied to pay it down at your local station, or they would come to your address to deal with the situation.

And you would be arrested nevertheless, they wouldnt just go "we're locking your computer, give us £100 and we'll walk away", come on you cant be seriously believing this?

Its obviously some form of scam pop-up/advertisement, or a virus on your computer. And look at it this way, you were prompted with this because you allegedly "watched pornography involving minors", but you clearly stated you were watching ordinary, normal porn.

Therefore you have nothing to worry about, the internet is full of free porn, perfectly legal, if you were just watching regular porn, you have not commited ANY crime, and do not need to pay the police £100, LOL.

 

No I didn't beleive it was real, I was 90% sure it was fake but had the 10% and thanks guys, my mate said hes had it before and is wallking me through it, pheewww.

 

It's a trojan rate. Do a computer scan and delete all exe files or Jpeg files you may have downloaded ecently.

 

i just restored to factory settings, i had bare amounts of shit needed deleting anyway

 

That also happened to me, it's just a virus you need to run a full sytem scan on your computer to get it removed

 

I've heard about this somewhere else and it's virus / phishing shit just to get money from you.

 

You really are a fool for believing this.. Oh, and the internet police? They only arrest you for DISTRIBUTING child porn, not watching it. They're actually sitting in a van outside my house but I hacked their wifi and have been browsing through that... sneaky eh?

 

DO NOT PAY ANYTHING. It is a virus. This is a really well known scam, just get rid of the virus and don't pay any money to anyone. There is a wealth of information on virus removal on here so just do a search. Happy Christmas, and stop wanking so much. ;D

Tons of viruses impersonate anti-virus programs. Pretty obvious that this is a virus and not the police charging you for looking at porn..
