Instead of posting a new thread every time i make something in PS, i'm going to post it here.
I am trusting people here not to rip me, so.. Don't.

I will set it out in sections, Avatars, Signatures and Random Stuff.

Hope you enjoy, please not, this will be updated multiple times a week, please come back for more

Please give feedback, on how to improve what, and maybe a nudge in the right direction, a rating alone does nothing but make me feel good (if it's 10\10)

1st -

Was just messing with a tutorial i saw, ended up looking ok
Signitures

1st (ancient lol) -

Done in PS CS2 Trial, Used brushes and text, can't claim much from that, if anything.
2nd -

Used a render to make the background, but then removed the render, used brushes on the background, and paint spill is a brush too.
3rd -

My favorite so far. Made the background myself, bit of help from a tutorial, made the lightening myself, i didn't cut out the render, but nevertheless, i'm happy with it.
4th -

Made for a friends forum, i quite like it ^^
Random

1st -

Blood splatter, used a tutorial, slightly modified it, looks pretty neat i think. (annoyed about the right side, it's really ugly where u can see a vertical line

I like your current sig, only thing is it took me a while to find the text. I think its a sig where you should make the vocal point the text, because everthing else has such a low opacity it has like no grab-ya.

 

Until i am at the calibre to create my own text, from scratch, i wont be making the text the 'vocal point'. Why have the 'vocal point' based around something i didn't do?

I only like my name there as a slight personalization, and a bit of ripping protection.

 

Try to make a cool looking avatar with ST like yours

(matching my siggy)

 

I think this may suffice, and no, it's not the exact same as mine.. I didn't save the .psd last time

I'd say you're doing very well for a beginner, and just need to keep working on carving out a niche for yourself, and developing your own style.

A useful tip is to never listen to anyone, if they're telling you what you should be doing, only if they point out problems, and even then with a grain of salt.

 

Thanks. I was thinking about niches last night, it's a little easier said than done. Lol. But i'm sure it will come with time.

 

Just take all advice with a pinch of salt, use only the best tools, and use only your own resources, and it'll definitely come with time.

 

May I request a Sig you could make me?
