Question: Better to talk to a girl in person or txt/msg online?

j/w what yall think..i talk to a girl at school i like alot and am goin to prom with but..dont always talk alot to her, we talk online some..should i go for gettin digits and txt her..or just chill out and talk 2 her more at school?

Definitely talk to her more irl, just online relationships are bad and it's good to get to know her more by talking to her rather than typing.

 

Talking to a girl is better then talking to her online. You can't even compare the two really.

You should just chill out and talk to her, but still get her number. Just ask for it I'm sure she will give it to you. ^_^

 

Girls like it more when you talk to them in person more, but they also like talking VIA text or Instant Message if they are into you. They just want to talk to you, they don't really mind the method of talking.

 

Talk to her more at school. I doubt she wants an online boyfriend which is basicly all that would happen if you only talk to her via instant messaging.

IRL is better, but texting is easier... The girls I talk to know that I hate talking IRL and they let me just text them a lot... But... Its not a good habit...

It's good to have a balance. Too much of either one will stab you in the back later.

 

Texting is like talking but you can be someone you're not. I mean you could get nervous talking to her in real life and as you wouldn't around her.

I'd say try getting to know her IRL and text her sometimes but be the same person at all times so she knows what to expect.

 

Texting/messaging might seem easier, but real life will always be better.

 

Also.. When you're texting people tend to leave false impressions and feelings. Me, I type "lol" lots of the time and I'm not laughing or thinking anything is funny.

It happens with other words also, another thing is like if you're out of a conversation and you just type hmm, or soo, that would be boring in real life.
You tend to act more natural in real life.

 

It's better online because if you say something stupid, you can say "wrong window" or something.

If you find texting her and stuff is easier. Just find out what shes interested in through texting, then you can talk to her about that IRL.

But what happens online, stays online. Or what happens in a text stays in a text etc. You don't mention any of that IRL. Like you don't go "hey remember that emoticon i sent you over msn that you thought was so funny!?!? i got another one like it!!!", if you did that you'd be fucked.

Yeh dude talk to her at school. The whole texting and online thing is kind of stalkerish. Girls like to lead their own lives man.. if you don't give them enough space they push you away. So yeh ask for her digits and caller if you are asking her out or something and the occasional conversation. Just be sure you give her the space she needs.
