Question about the MSN Proofs with Screenies

This shouldn't be done. Those can be easily edited. There should be a rule where you save the convos which could be done. And then screenie it. It shall be harder to edit. If you agree with me. Just say yes, and reason.

Question about the MSN Proofs with Screenies

No, because the Saved logs, are all bunched up together so you would see if someone has Edited or not?

Question about the MSN Proofs with Screenies

I think people should have the msn window open, and go over it with hypercam. I don't see how it could be forged.

    xml's are editable too.

Question about the MSN Proofs with Screenies

Well, Viny's idea also is awesome! But, mine to the regular chat logs and Screenies could be edited. Viny's and I have a better chance to make reporting harder but no scammers.

Question about the MSN Proofs with Screenies

Like I said, that's not really harder to edit. If you could edit the convo, you can edit the logs. If there was a rule for hypercam, many people wouldn't bother reporting users.

Question about the MSN Proofs with Screenies

I meant for the hypercam thing just to be used for reporting scammers. I think it would be worth it :S.

Question about the MSN Proofs with Screenies

Shame, anyone who's competent with photoshop would be able to edit a log. And even with hypercam, the logs don't show the email - only a display name. That's not sufficient.

Anyway, most users aren't in danger of being falsely reported. Although proof can be forged, it still takes time. When a dispute over proof is raised, then it will be looked into accordingly.

Question about the MSN Proofs with Screenies

Sin makes a valid point.. The chances of someone beeing framed with the effort and expertise required to forge all the needed things are next to nihil, seeing as those people would be competent enough to get to him by other means. That, or they'd just find a way to forge the new required proof aswell.

To make it simple: The current system is working as good as you could possibly want it to. There is absolutely no need to change it in any way anytime soon.

Question about the MSN Proofs with Screenies

Exactly, people get framed all the time. But, I know it dosen't show email but its more valid. Then those little screenies. And HyperCam can't be edited.

Question about the MSN Proofs with Screenies

Well some people cant get hypercam because A: There computer wont support it or B: There computer is just to slow.

Me for example, when I run Hypercam i cant move, my comp freezes up until I press F2 and stop it.

Screenies of convos are fine, they are easily tellable if edited.

Question about the MSN Proofs with Screenies

I'm talking about just running the hypercam over the Msn window after. You can edit a screenie; not so easily a video.
