Question About Russian Steam Keys

When you activate them, is there a way to convert them to english permanently? Is it international?

 

Most of them are multilanguage

 

So you get to choose the language when you activate the game or when you install the game and get to the in-game menu?

 

^ That is correct, you activate them using a Russian VPN, but you can download and play them anywhere.
Most of them should be playable in English.

Edit: You can change the language on Steam.

 

So change it permanently FROM the steam client or in the in game menu?

 

Library -> Right mouse click on game -> Properties -> Language

Some of games have heavy restrictions, like Skyrim, that can be played ONLY on russian ips (yeah, you'll need a VPN to play it after activated).

And I heard some problem in mp games like CoD series, just be careful.

Also, you could be investigated if you regularly buy games using VPNs (personal experience).

Be careful - I was tryed to sell Fallout:NV region free steam rus key, but in Romania it was still locked.
