Question About RS pins

Question, whats an SMS pin? what does the SMS stand for (and also all the other diferent types?)

 

An SMS pin is a runescape membership pin. you get it from texting to jagex from your cell phone.

when lets say, buying or getting an SMS pin from someone, does it require anything else? Such as living in the same country or knowing their number?

This is only available in some countries though. I'm not sure which ones but i'm pretty sure New Zealand doesn't (just noticing thats where your from).

If you go onto Runescape and look up payment details or something like that it'll tell you a list of countries than are able to use SMS pins.

You need to know their cell phone number and when you go to put in the pin, you have to change to the right country that they are from.

You do need to know there number its found on the runescape website, and basically the process of it is you just go to "Upgrade to members" then go log in then go options and click sms, some countries you cant do it. Most you can but some you cant.

• Payment Method: (Credit/Debit, Pay-By-Phone, PayPal, SMS, Wallie Card, Pay-By-Cash)

• Duration: (If Applicable)

• Phone Number: Optional

• Pin Number: (If Applicable)

SMS Pins are a method of payment in making your account a member on RuneScape.
