playstation 3 slim or xbox 360 short

Yes I mention short not slim because it isn't slimmer at all it's still fat just shorter.

My step dad say'd he would buy me either of the two I already have a phat playstation 3 which has given me countless amounts of problems its now only used for blu Ray

I also got a elite I play on regularly fairly new which is awesome! but we coming to some revolutionary times in gaming pretty soon so the choice is!


I keep my elite and get a playstation slim

Or I sell my elite and get a xbox short

Will kinect work on a normal 360 btw

Get the new 360, it has all the built-in features the PS3 had but the 360 was previously lacking.

 

No blu ray though I'm hoping for advice from someone who actually owns either of these consoles!

PS3 slim and sell your fat PS3. Plus Sony is coming out with something that is like Kinect, called PS3 Move.

 

I doubt I'd get anything for it I'll have to check out that ps3 move I've heard about it

Thanks for input! brett at the end of the day its still just a xbox with all the extra's built in nothing really spatacular i found out you can use kinect on a normal 360 anyway

 

You can always get a PlayStation Three, more exclusives, free PlayStation Network, can always swap out for a 500GB 2.5" hard drive or even a higher capacity, the games in the future for PlayStation 3 will be insanely good because of the disc space on blu-ray, better overall controller for fighting games, shooting games, racing games and et cetera, because of the Xbox Three Sixty's horrible D-Pad. Choose whichever is best for you, I would pick a PlayStation 3 if I were to play console games.

Ps3, Because you already have an xbox, and you technically don't have a ps3, I mean you DO But it's broken, and there's no sense of buying a new console just for the hell of it.

When it comes to gadgetry I'm always wanting the new shit and it's proven the more compact the better.

I look at my phat PS3 I just feel like dumping it, as for the new 360 I don't see much difference in it still a fat console! and all that stuff it claims I already have a 250GB HD and I have a wireless(n) adapter..

Since you have a perfectly working 360, I'd go with a PS3. Kinect will work fine on your 360, and as long as you don't need more HDD space or wireless capability, there really is no point in buying the new 360.

So in my opinion, just get the PS3, but make sure you reserve a copy of Halo: Reach. It's gonna blow away any PS3 games ..... Maybe.

 

yeah halo reach is epic it's like what we needed in halo 3 they gave us!

Also new gears is EPIC

but also some PS3 titles I wan't to get into like GOD of war grand turismo if they dont delay it another 5 years heavy rain and what not!

Honestly everybody needs both systems there games on each systems that you just cant miss!

Xbox 360, there isn't much point in getting a PS3.

 

why isnt there no point in buying a PS3? both consoles do the same thing, only difference is that you have to pay for live on xbox, and PS3 has better hardware. they still do the same thing.

I recommend buying the new xbox 360 if your xbox breaks. If your elite is perfectly fine then simply buy the ps3. Best of both.

 

the newer smaller xbox looks fucking sick, I was in HMV a few days ago and they had one in black. Nearly bought it and I already have a 360, mind you it red rings weekly. I

It was 300$ and came with a 250gb hard drive, mine cost nearly 500 on release.
