Question about membership codes

Hey, got a question about membership codes.

Saw many people selling membership codes and wanted to ask if there's any risk using them. Not talking about very trusted people with a lot of vouches and so on, but in general, if I buy a membership code, let's say, from a newcomer, is there any risk for my account to get banned or to get negative membership days? Can't they just sell these codes and after just chargeback money from them or something like that?

the risk of bans exist if you do something like use fake creditcards for memberships and such.

prices from trusted n non trusted r about the same (dirt cheap) if ur that worried just buy from a trusted seller instead of tryna save like 1$ lol
