Question about lag

Okay i purchased a ps4 and when i play call of duty ghosts and i try to kill someone i dont even see them yet and there shooting me or ill have to put a half of clip in someone to kill them while they only have to shoot 2 times... is there a way to fix this? is it my tv giving off input lag or what...

 

Hey man, I remember having that same issue with some of the newer COD games when I played, though it was for my Xbox 360. It sounds like the same problem I have, so I'll assume it's the same issue: lag compensation.

It's really to do with your internet settings - I'd recommend googling it and seeing what you can find for PS4s.

 

It's likely that the other player is the host of the match and can see/shoot you far before you can see/shoot him. Or maybe you are using a weaker weapon like an SMG compared to an assault rifle.

 

I'd suggest exploring the settings to find lag compensation features that most games come standard with nowadays. Different TVs require different calibration. For example, an LCD TV would require unique lag calibration as opposed to, say, a plasma TV.
