Question about Jagex Resting Stats

Ok i have a zerker which i trainned all legit, i want to get 90 range from 79 and was gonna bot it at the Yak place.

Will jagex reset only the range back to 79 or will they reset to like 10?

Also will they reset my other legit levels such as 97 str i got long time ago?

I've heard about some people having legit stats reset as well as botted stats. In addition sometimes they go to where you started botting but more often times they go lower. Also there's a chance you will get completely banned instead of reset so I don't recommend botting if you got 97 strength properly.

 

You're chance of ban is higher than your chance of being reset.

I'd say botting with the intention of being reset is a bad idea.
