So, I know the difference between each of the types of log-ins but I don't understand the price difference between the two. Can anyone care to explain how a username log-in can affect the price of an account, rather than having it an email log-in?

E-mail logins are in most cases less reputable. I think this is because it proves they were created after November 2010 which is very recent in terms of RuneScape. People would want accounts which are 'aged'... An accounts created in 2002 would be worth more (with exactly the same stats) then an account created in 2012. It's just the way it is. It doesn't really affect name sales as people can't see the E-mail you use to login with, only your display name.

Also people prefer to login with a username over e-mail, it's just easier I guess...
That's my take on the reasons why anyway :)

This. It also has an effect on the price, because if the Name Log-in is a good one (Let's say in this case 'God' - it isn't a display name which means the name is the original and is less likely to be changed (Like a display name) in the future.
