Banned for 2 days by Bot Buster?

So I was banned for botting fletching. When I checked my account status, I was banned only for 2 days rather than the usual perm ban. It also said the offence was Bot Busting Moderate instead of Macroing. Is there a difference between the two?

They have a 2 day ban for first time offenders (sometimes), and a permanent ban for everyone else.

 

But why does it say the offence was Bot Busting instead of Macroing Minor or something like that? Was I caught by a different method?

Im actually not sure about this, since i thought they always perm banned and took all the items during the bot busting vids.

same happened for me. i got 3 accounts banned permanently since i started december 2k15. now my last account got banned for two days. The last account is older and i bought it here on sythe.

 

they go crazy on bots last few months.

 

I only get bot busting moderates during the weekends. I feel like its an automated system thats banning you, without any mods reviewing it.

 

It it's not a money making skill most likely it's not perm because it would harm their existing dwindling player base. Most likely if it was wc, mining or something profitable you'd say goodbye to the acc

 

No that is when the most bot busting events occur because Jmods and Pmods are available but many are throughout the week as well.

 

You got lucky, yours is only a temporary ban.
