What is RSBot?

I have seen many threads asking basic questions about RSBot. I will try to answer many in this thread.(RSBot is NOT detectable)

What is RSBot?
Rsbot is a program which is used to do things for you in runescape.

Here is a picture of RSBot:


RS Screen - Pretty self explanatory, this is where the game is played.

Console - This is where all the information the user needs about the program is displayed, shouldnt have to worry about it much.

Controls

• Pause - Pauses the program to stop what ever it is doing
• Resume - Resumes the program to continue where it left off
• User Input - Determines whether you can give input to the game.(Will explain in more depth later) Green is on, Red is off

Settings

• Bot - From here, you can start/stop the script(Will explain what scripts are later), Can also pause/resume from here, Can enable anti-randoms and anti-ban(Will explain later)
• Settings - Manage account details and select low cpu setting(Uses less resources)
• Compiler - Compile scripts here, nothing you really need to know
• Debug - Can display many different things about your character such as
  Where he is on the runescape world, the ID of items in your inventory etc.(Dont worry, this is for scripters ONLY)

What are scripts?
Scripts are what tells RSBot what to do. Think of the script as the brain, and RSBot as arms and legs. The brain tells the legs and arms what to do. Without the arms and legs, the brain is pointless. Without the brain, the arms and legs don't know what to do. Scripts are written by scripters.(Obviously )
Example:you can take a script that will cut willow trees at draynor and banks them. This script tells RSBot to walk to the trees, cut them, bank them, and repeat.
You can get many scripts from the RSBot website. (RSBot.org)
If you know how, you can even create your own scripts.(I wont be getting into that on this thread).


Script discrimination
Thats right, not all scripts are created equal. Some scripts are definitely better than others. They could be faster, more reliable, etc.
Exampleerson A creates a script that picks flax and banks it.
His script is extremely unreliable, and one little thing being slightly off, throws the entire script off. You would be lucky if his script would go 3 loads before screwing up. This could be starting the script a few feet from where the script expects, and many many other things.
Person B creates a script that picks flax. His script is very good. It is extremely reliable, and lets you start along any part of the trip. You would expect at the very least to get 100+ loads before the script messes up, if it ever does.


Anti-Randoms
Well, as you know there are many randoms in runescape. Some examples are "Strange box", "Mime", "Drill Demon", "Sandwich Lady", etc.
Anti-randoms are separate entities from scripts. They will automatically detect when a random comes, pause the script that you are running, solve the random, and resume the script. Some scripts are solveable and others arent. If you get an unsolveable random then the anti-randoms will automatically turn off the script and log out of the account. Some solveable randoms are "Strange Box", "Mine", "Drill Demon", etc.
Some unsolveable ones are "Classroom", "Quiz", etc.


Anti-Ban
Anti-ban are procedures that will try to act human like. Some will move the mouse to random places, rotate the screen, change tabs, check xp on levels, some even talk.
Anti-ban is again a separate entity from scripts, and will automatically trigger at random times. Some scripts have built-in anti-ban, but this works differently. Regular anti-ban is like anti-randoms, it automatically does its thing without any communication from the script. Built in anti-ban is included in some nicer scripts. It is part of the script and thus will trigger at specific times. Some scripts which are constantly moving will have built in anti-ban because normal anti-ban can activate during a crucial time, and slow things down. So they have built in anti-ban which activates when ever the script has some down time.(If the script has built in anti-ban, you can disable the regular anti-ban)

It IS detectable, if you use bad scripts ect.
Every bot is detectable. It just has a very low rate if you use AllAntiBan by WarX and a good script..

 

Everything is detectable to some extent. As far as bots go, RSBot is very reliable and largely undetectable, but to say that's it's undetectable is an absolute. Logging out at unsolvable randoms is detectable, scripts messing up is detectable, etc.

 

That would mean some scripts are detectable... The bot itself, and the way it modifies the client, are not detectable.

when i try to run the batch file, a black box comes up for a millisecond and it disepears. then nothing happens... what did i do wrong?
