How would I go about getting my protective parents to let me run off to a music festival for 4 days that is a 6 hour drive away. This would be with a girl who they know I am in love with, is absolutely gorgeous. We would sleep in her car every night.

I've worked damn hard to save up 350 dollars for this.

I figured that the SF would give me the best suggestions.
Can't wait 'till I'm 18 in a couple months..

Well.. I'll be preparing for university and living 200 miles from my parents soon after I turn 18.

just say your going for a drive, and got lost. lol but just do it and then take it when you get home, its not that bad, i do a heap of stuff that way lol

 

irresponsible, but if you are willing to take the hit...probably your best bet.

Have a grown up conversation with them. Ask them to trust you, mention that you will be turning turning 18 soon and be living away from them. Try explaining how much it means to you as well. Tell them how hard you've worked to save up for it.

If they disagree with you and choose for you not to go, do what all the other posts say. Just go, and take the hit when you come back.
