Just to clarify

The new bot nuke thing jagex is bragging about will probably ban I will say 60% of botters. It will be on the same scale as the big bot ban of like 500k accounts on rsc just more because obviously more people play\bot now then they did back then. Most bots will be up and running a day or 2 after the update a week at most.

I'd also like to say don't stop cold turky on botting just slow down and don't bot like 6 hours before the update until you know what they're doing. because it will obivously look suspicious if they thought u were a bot and u bot 24\7 for the past year and the day before this ur a no show lol.

Just a little info on what is going to probably happen from past experiences and some advice you can take or hopefully don't take as I wouldn't mind more mills to drop off of rs

 

Jagex actually doesn't have a "sophisticated bot detection system" ... MUCH less than 60% of bots will be banned. The only thing that will happen is that Nexus will be down for a while.

Jagex cant stop the bots until they shutdown the domain. Bots will be down for a few hours max, then it'll be Botting fest again.

 

You guys may be right but honestly if all these "bot hunts" were more like them looking and finding bots to do this tomorrow just to make the people who still play happy I'd believe it. they know we will make new accounts and honestly its not hard to tell if someone is botting and there automated response system saves them from the other bs, I think they have just been collecting names and saving it for today to make the people who really play happy for a while.Because obviously botting has gotten worse.

 

It will probably just be a mass ban nothing new, they wont permantly stop bots
