QBD is soooo hard!

im maxed melee cept for 91 def i have overloads turmoil and used full bandos z ring dfs fury and claws spec and had no chance, tried it liek 5 times and wasted millions in supplies. thanks jagex. what did you guys think of it

 

isn't that the point? For it to be really hard?

 

The only way to really beat it is with Torva and Divine, even with that Runeshark had a hard time.

There's techniques yet to be figured out. Whether evading the fire wall is better than tanking. How to get rid of those souls faster, if they have a weakness etc.

But for now, until someone chooses to explore it and observe things, it won't get much easier.

It is definitely harder than Nomads. On the 2nd phase, I gave up as I didn't know what to do. I had absolutely no idea how to get rid of those worms that were dealing accurate magic hits on Gano. I clicked on a dragonkin thing, but I had no idea what it did or even does.

 

I personally think Range works best. Did people Melee Jad when it first came out? No. So why assume that you should use Melee versus QBD as a solo-only boss?

 

melee works best for sure, i just think its pretty much not worth doing without torva and divine.

 

Because it was confirmed by Jagex that melee works best. And I'm pretty sure it can still Melee you even if you ranged. But I'm not the one to ask as I haven't tried range. They said that these bolts were effective, but not as effective as melee.

 

Get some dreadnips and go Own that bitch!

 

It really isn't that hard if you have the appropriate gear.

 

Do not use dreadnips. They will get you killed.

I did it second time round with torva and divine and a Yak, then decided to start challenging myself after a few kills.

Best I've managed to do it with was bandos/fighter hat/steads with dragon defender and rapier, using steel titan as my familiar. You only use a lot of brews when your not hitting qbd for so long as he it keeps spawning things so steel titan really does help.

It was aimed at level 120's and I think a level 120 can do it with ease if they followed a guide on what to do.

One thing that makes a big difference; everyone seems to hate tortured souls are they hit a 200 each time they spawn, but if you lure them onto the black circle thats on the floor it hits them instead of you.

 

Its good its hard since to many people complain every boss in game is eazy...eventually jagex is gonna make updates to make QBD eazy
you just need to make a good stragety

This thread has actually angered me a bit, haha.
People are constantly complaining that RS is too easy and bosses are easy loot, then they release an actual hard one and you complain again.
Besides, Jagex have said multiple times that you should be cb 120+ to stand a chance against qbd; why think as a 91 cb, with mediocre equipment that you can turn over a brand new boss...

A 1 def. Pure just beat the QBD, can't be too hard.

 

Hmm then there must be some methods involved. Not too sure though
