"Show inventory" runescape scam?

Does any1 knows how this rs scam works? They say giving away free _________ but I dont know how they scam you. Does any1 knows about this?

 

I believe once you put your inventory up, they just put the food up, and click accept, hoping you forget that your inventory is up.

So, say I show my inventory, and I have 4 items in there, they'll put up 24 (lobs) and just click accept.. :/

 

And how is this a scam?

 

Because they do it in the hopes they can con you into trading your more valuable items for some sharks, or whatever item they are using.

 

because hopefully they have say a AGS in their invetory. you give them food and he gives you ags forgetting that he put it up

This is not a scam. you just gotta find a dumb enough 10 year old.

 

I'm pretty sure the success rate for this scam isn't very good.

Yeah, like said above, it pretty much relies just on your own stupidy. Given you have an IQ over 40, you should be fine.
