Need some help

Hey, I've constantly been changing which character I play as my 'Main' for quite a long time and I think it's mainly down to not enjoying the game anymore. But WoW is quite a big part of what I do and quitting isn't really an option seeing as I spend most of my life in a skype call with friends who play WoW and seem to be enjoying it.

I want to keep playing with them and keeping up with their gear and raid progress etc but if I can't ever decide which character to play I'm falling behind. Each of my friends seem to be almost known by the character they play and are asked about their roles by others as they clearly spend a hell of a lot of time making sure they are doing it right. I want to be associated with something, like they are.

So I just need some help on sticking to a character, what I can do to get rid of constantly being put off every time I see another class do something I can't do or just changing simply out of boredom.

Any tips on how to do stick to a main and things to do in game to keep me occupied on one character would be much appreciated.

Pick a hybrid class, that way you can stick to one class and alternate roles when you get bored. That's honestly the only thing I could come up with.

What classes do you play / enjoy?

Thanks for your response, well at the moment I play a fury warrior and I enjoy it quite a bit. I also have a druid which I play a hell of a lot also, it is balance/feral and is also DS10 Viable.

Seeing as you suggested a hybrid class, I'd probably pick my druid over anything else it's just i've spent so much time on my warrior this patch if I were to go back I would fall behind my friends.

Maybe it's time I just left my raiding team for a bit, sum up what I want to play the most and stick to it.

Well obviously you need to first find a class or spec that you at least like to play, no point trying to 'get into' a class that you find boring or dull to play.

Maybe you could try doing some things like getting some rare achievements [if that's your kind of thing], or some rare mounts that you like. Not sure what else to tell you, but I was a bit of the same like a month ago. I kept trying everything until I realized I loved the playstyle of holy paladins.

Maybe you'll like the monk class coming in pandaria?

 

It's tough, because only you really know what you like. But yeah, a hybrid class is always fun to play because of the flexibility.

I personally love playing my rogue and I think it's the most fun to play out of all the classes. I think it's a case of just seeing which you find most fun.
