Wanting to get back into Runescape

Hey guys.

So, recently I've been wanting to get back into Runescape a little bit on the side. I havent touched my computer on weeks due to the beautiful weather, been out with friends all day and night. But I had off yesterday and I came home late and found myself extremely bored. I was on YT and saw lots of cool RS videos, and started considering playing again.

I haven't played for about 3 or 4 years, and it looks very overwhelming now and it seems like having a successful account will take more time and effort than I have on my hands. Summer is right around the corner and I doubt I'll be at home much save 2 or 3 nights a week. However when I am home I tend to stay up quite late, and I think I could use this time for Runescape.

So... Is Runescape too overwhelming to start fresh again? Is it worth starting again? How much will I have to play to have a successful account again? Is it worth buying membership again? If so, why?

Do what im doing. I quit when free trade was removed the first time. I am now coming back but only after I've botted the account up to a level suitable for this new time for rs. Im botting dung and combat without fear of ban since this is just a bonus for me really.

Short: Bot the account you want to use before you start to play so you dont get attached.

 

Idk tbh it's up to you, I find it fun thats probably because I'm on ventrillo laughing and talking to friends while i play Runescape.

Botting seems like a good idea, it's worked quite well for me in the past. Is RSBot still the big thing? & whats good to bot that's non-combat?

 

Game like runescape (multi addictive) never was positive, just saying You posted if you should play, i told no, and you say its negative. Pretty obvious that you came back to play, and just fucking around at this thread, gl

 

This thread was to ask for opinions not negative answers like what you posted.

 

Clearly said what is game about, and when you're addicted to something, you never see it in right side ^_^

 

I asked for answers and you just gave an immediate negative answer without any support or opinion in regards to any questions I posted. Just pointing out I viewed your answer as negative based on those points.

 

No you shouldn't come back. Sounds like your having fun irl. RS is way to time consuming.

 

I'm having loads of fun IRL, thanks. But I feel like if I put enough time into it whenever I have downtime I could have a decent account by the end of summer.

And I can just bot when I'm out during the day/when I'm not home/etc.

 

I think you should, however you have to approach it differently nowadays. Flipping is a good way to go And skilling at the same time.

 

if youre going to bot then buy an idung pro auth and load up rs buddy. get a chaotic wep then use perfect fighter and make some money and 99's. Then play soul wars

Starting out completely fresh with a level 3 is overwhelming, but, you have to remember, it isn't all about being that maxed account with a bunch of 99's. Find what you like to do and just do that.

 

There's some things you should know:

The wild sucks, 90% of the players are cocksuckers that can't be trusted, the rs economy is shit, jagex fucks kids in the ass on a daily basis, each update brings rs closer to complete annihilation.

Stay away from rs if your social life is good, maybe if you get AIDS,Cancer, AND Herpes then you should play rs. Get a console before you decide to play rs.

 

So I'm getting: Bot for l00t, skill for l00t, flip for INFINIIITEE L000TZZ, then bot Combat and play Soul Wars?

 

This guy is right?.. Not sure why you thought he was negative, this is 100% true. Don't come back tbh, live your life, more to it than just a game, even if it's just an hour a day.

 

It's all about what you want to do there are many much better mmo's out there you might want to look into. But if you still like then hey why not.

No, there's obviously alot of pros and cons.

There's alot of reasons I still don't wanna play, and there alot of reasons I do wanna play. I argued with one person because his answer had no support or reasoning.
