Donations

It has become one of the most inactive part of the forum, and isn't really even used properly. People make suggestions pertaining to the donation center and posts threads in the feedback section about it too.

My suggestion?

Move the section to be a sub-forum of:

Otherwise, it should be removed in my opinion. The section is hardly used, and hasn't been posted in for a year.

it should still be there, i would make a donation but im broke, i just wish there was someway to donate through paypal, then i would ina heartbeat

i think this was mentioned but what if Matt sold ranks via ebay then if they charge back they have to deal with ebay and theyll get the money back, as long as its stated in the item description that they are for ranks on this site, i could see that working

anyhow, i support maybe there it will be more active

 

Didn't Matt bring the PayPal donation back for a couple months? I haven't been on for a while but why'd it get taken out again?

 

What ever happened to the 1m+ donation thing? Is it still getable?

 

No. All donations where Migrated by Matthew a little over a month and a half ago so that all users will have the same type of rank to erase confusion of what people had donated.

 

Because you didn't donate. So you obviously would support.

People abused it, again.

They updated it all to $ value since they don't take GP anymore.

 

The entire MMORPG section is slow, but unless project is formally abandoned, it will remain as is. Development donations were intended to be separate from forum donations; they make more sense where they are. That way, people don't just see, "Donate - MMORPG" in the donation center and click it; rather, they are encouraged to actually read the forums above and see where the game is in its development. It would obviously have more use if the MMORPG section itself were more active (and people had an incentive to donate), but as I said, that still seems to be the eventual intention.
