Purpose of Personal Support & Assistance Forum

Many people - including myself - have difficulty talking about my personal problems in person, to my friends, and, when I do, I sometimes feel that the advice they offer is halfhearted, as though they are not interested in the problem but are merely regurgitating useless, clichéd advice so that they are ''doing their duty as a friend''.

Here, however, I want people to be able to talk openly and present any personal problems that they feel uncomfortable talking about elsewhere. The site has over 260,000 members, and there is a significant chance - no matter what the nature of your predicament - that a certain number can relate. As such, members should feel free not only to post their problems here, but should also feel free to offer advice to those in need.
