Got chargebacked, case closed instantly.

Basically got chargebacked from this Blog guy, for $50 ish.

I got an email saying We're investigating a payment reversal (Blog requested one)

Then two minutes later another one saying Your case has been resolved, even though I had no say in it. They refunded it instantly and in the email it even thanks me for my "quick reply" even though I didn't reply to anything.

I tried disputing the transaction but it won't let me as the transaction ID is not valid. I'm guessing since the case has already been closed.

I'm going to try calling them, but before that anyone dealt with something like this in the past? (paypal)

 

Yes I have... Someone chargebacked $70 and I thought well Im not going to reply right now as Im pissed and will end up raging and not helping my case.
Went back to write my side of the story the day after and it was closed and he was refunded.
Paypal is useless. (Assuming its paypal)

 

Call them.

There have been a lot of cases like this in the past, the only thing that you can do is call and ask what's going on.

Odds are against you in this situation. They rarely decide cases so quickly. When they do, they are usually real fraud, not just some kid trying to get their money back.

 

But it obviously isn't real fraud. I was also contacted by that Blog guy trying to buy gold, so he's clearly just a kid trying to get his money back.

 

On the contrary, he's clearly a kid buying gold with stolen/hacked PayPal accounts.

 

He chargebacked 4 others, he's banned now.
