What do you do on Christmas Day?

Hey everyone. I'm just wondering what everyone does on Christmas Day, if they have a traditional Christmas or do something a little different?

I personally have a traditional Christmas, I wake up in the morning, open presents, then at around 2ish most of the family come round for Christmas dinner. We have usually turkey or roast. At night my mother cleans the house and everything then we call it a night.

What about you?

 

We too have a traditional christmas.
On the day we wake up and open the presents from each other. Our whole extended family then comes round for lunch , we open our presents ,and we eat till we vomit
They usually leave at around 4'ish and then we clean up.... we sit down in front of the TV and don't have dinner because we ate too mauch already lol

 

Eat food, open presents, wait for the day to end. I get bored.

 

Open presents.

 

Wake up, shower, presents, breakfast/lunch (it's usually around 11am before we eat or later). Then just do whatever for the rest of the day (tommorrow on christmas i'll probably go for a drive to fill up my car with petrol) and then have a turkey for dinner! Pretty basic, we don't live near any of our other family, only our direct family so yeah. Its not that big of a day for us lol.

 

Have a party and a pissup.

Open presents, see all the family.

Hang with gf.

Dont sleep coz of the party and pissup

 

Well, it all starts on Christmas Eve for us.

We wake up, and normally we get a present next to our bed, which we get to open. Then, early afternoon, we gather up with the whole family, and we have a meal and then afterwards we have dessert. Then around 6-7ish we get someone to call out the presents 1 by 1, so everyone gets to see what everyone got.

On the 25th, we've been going around some friends house and a bunch of other friends come around, and we all bring some left overs, and then we have this huge breakfast, and stay there pretty much all day, just talking, and finding something to do.

 

Traditionally, I thought most people go to church on Christmas morning? I guess none of you guys do (please correct me if I'm wrong, I've never been to church in my whole life. Anyways, my sister and I would usually wake up at around 5 and run down to open presents. We would then have somewhat of a Christmas brunch and then leave to our grandparents' houses, where are aunts, uncles and cousins would be. Nowadays, we still do presents but it's not as exhilarating. And we can't travel to relatives' because we moved, 2000 miles away. So, yah it's basically a day with the family (close) now.

 

Hang out with family Lunch Tea and do what ever

 

I open my gifts at dads
and then i go to moms.
then its off to grandmas.

I Love Christmas

 

Wake up.
Open Stuff.
Eat.
Go to the prison to talk to my father.
Eat again.
Sleep.

open presents...eat...talk to relatives(about how the crops are doing... zzz) eat supper open other presents... go home and say fuck, all the hype for this?

I haven't celebrated Christmas in 2 years so far, I don't really in the religion anymore so it would be wrong for me to celebrate Christmas and get gifts.

 

i go to my girlfriends house for a bit, play hockey with mates, and EAT DINNER!

We usually just go about the day as a normal day..we usually open christmas presents on christmas eve..bribing parents ftw

The only thing we have different really is that we have a huge dinner..for me, mom, step dad and brother. I would usually go over to my grand parents house, but i am not talking to my dad since may, so thats not happening this year.
