How do proxies work?

How do you change your normal IP address back when you get done using a proxy, because I just got IP banned from a private server and want to get back on, but i don't want to use a proxy and not be able to change my ip back.

It depends whether you're using a web or computer proxy. If you're using an installed proxy, there will usually be an option to turn it off. You can get HideMyIp for a free 30 day trial if that helps - just google it.

If you're using a web proxy, exiting the window where you're using the proxy will do the trick.

This site was a major fail. Still can't use the private server, or an the forums for the server as I am IP banned on them too.

 

Giving us some more information would help us answering you;
What proxy did you use? You where IP banned while using a proxy? Are you playing trough a web client?

I'll also move this to Help and Request for you, better chance getting good answers there.

 

I have downloaded this "Hide my IP shit, and it sucks.

I only want to know, on Internet Explorer, how do I add and remove a proxy.

 

A program like "Hide my IP" hides your IP in any use of the internet (Internet Explorer too). So just uninstall the program to revert to your original IP.
