This really irritates me

I hate when people post a thread, doing something they shouldn't then like 7 people say "oh bro you shouldn't do that!" make it a rule that people can't post saying its breaking a rule, simply report them.

idk i just see people getting post cound up by saying "You can't do that on sythe, mod please close this" when they could easily just report the thread, mods aren't mind readers, how are they going to know to close something simply by you posting them too? REPORT THEM

my suggestion is make this against the rules, it is unnecessary and very annoying.

Depends really. I think everyone has a right to voice their opinion, it's usually the 5-8 followers underneath that just copy and paste the same response that are spamming.

Basically I think the rule should be if someone beat you to it, then don't respond the same thing.

 

Agreed e.g.

If someone in the runescape section tries to sell an account and forgets to post pictures.. then only one person needs to tell them too. - You dont need 6 people stating the same shizz.

 

I always report this when I see it.

If they are asking a question or something and i post on it, I usually give them an answer if i know it or ignore the post. I dont see how saying 'wrong section' or 'do not suggest list' helps anyone. Also newcomers should not be infracted for posting in wrong sections ect as they don't know better(unless they are abusing it).

I tend to do this, but only if I am the first and I always report. I dont care about post count, I just perfer refering people to the stickies before there thread gets locked so they know why it is being locked. I had no idea it was a problem, guess i'll stop doing itXD

 

If you see any more than 3 of the same response then you should report. I think 2nd and 3rd opinions can be helpful in assuring the OP, generally anything more is spam.
