Proof Of Being Banned For Real World Trading In Runescape

Lol, when I used to be a mod in RS, they said they kept track of botters, and see who the botters gave the money to, I don't see how'd they get you if the RWT made the money legitimently though.

 

ive never been banned for RWT and ive transfered billions.

I got minor banned for RWT like last year I think when I ordered from gold4rs. Only lasted a few days though

 

How much did you buy? and how long after you bought it did you recieve the ban?

There is no real world item rule anymore, if you do not buy anything form goldfarming sites - you are safe.

 

what are you talking bout...? there is no RWT Bans...? Wtf...?

Mainly because, gold is either obtained by gold farming (bot) or abusing a bug. So...

 

I disagree with this... I think that there is legit ways to make gold that make 10 times the amount you would make if you bot... also 90% of the people botting bot to much and get banned... so I would say that there is a lot of gold being taken out of the game.... because of the bots... and not the other way around...

Yo reckon you could PM you appeal? banned a bit under a month back, still have my shot at an appeal but don't wanna mess it up.
But on topic for the thread starter, that's a yes that I got banned for RWTing.. although we did close to 60m in a couple of days..

I was banned a few days ago for RWT. I will tell you my story.

I have been playing RuneScape for about 6 years. My parents got divorced so to ease my worrys i decided to play RuneScape. I went to live with my dad after my parents got divorced and i lived with him for 9 years. I played RuneScape on his computer for 6 years, training my skills, completing quests etc. Because i played for 6 years at his house i used the same IP Address to play RuneScape. I recently moved house about 3 weeks ago to live with my mum as my dad had started to become addicted to alcohol, and my mum was concerned about me. So i moved to live with my mum and so the IP Address that my account was using for 6 years had changed due to moving to a different location. After a few weeks at my new house, my account was hacked. The hacker deleted all of the information (e.g recovery questions, email address etc.). After the hacker deleted all of the information he left the account unattended and i was distraught. I finally recovered it a week ago and changed all of the information about the account back to my information ( as it is my account and I am the original owner). I then became a member on the account and a few hours later i was permanently banned for Real World Trading goldfarmer. I have absolutely no idea why the account was banned because i never Real World Traded on it out of the whole 6 years of playing. However, I finally think I realisen why the account was banned. Due to the IP Address change because i moved house, Jagex probably suspected that i bought the account as the IP Address changed and so did all of the other information. But i think this is extremely unfair and i have sent an appeal but it is taken a very long time. Any advice or help will be much appreciated. Thanks
